Looking Good

GETTING STARTED

Looking good they say, is good business.

The first step to looking good is a well done makeup. No matter how sophisticated or expensively attired you are, if you make up is not right all that expensive effort may go down the drain for nothing.

You do not need to be a professional Makeup Artist to look good. You can achieve a dazzling effect by paying attention to the basics.

Now for you to achieve that wonderful look that could be the envy of all the girls (young and young at heart included), you need to take steps to ensure you have everything done right.
The right set of tools come in handy at this point. You would need the basics:

Powder brush
Foundation brush
Blush brush
Eye shadow brush
Lip brush; and
Eye brow groomer

Always ensure that your tools are of good quality and are durable. You get the best finish when the bristles of your brushes are made from Sable or horse hair rather than synthetic fiber, except for your foundation brush.

Always ensure that your tools are kept clean at all times as bacteria can get trapped in them, eventually causing breakouts.
In cleaning your brushes, swirl the bristles of your brush in a mix of soft wash or baby shampoo and lukewarm water. Rinse in lukewarm water as well. You can fold your brush into shape while wet but never squeeze on the bristles. Leave the brush on a surface to dry.

Do not immerse the brush in water. Swirl the Bristles only. The bristle head is held to the handle by glue and even the most expensive brushes can come apart when soaked in water.

With the right set of basic Makeup tools we are just on our way to creating the ideal makeup for the right occasion.
